Former Queens

Service

As a Minnesota 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Former Queens engage in many fundraising activities in service to the community.  Each year two local charities are selected that are meaningful to our members and the community to receive a donation from the Former Queens.  We encourage you to learn about and consider supporting these organizations that have been selected for 2024:

WISE- Women's Initiative for Self Empowerment

WISE provides culturally-responsive education and advocacy to immigrant and refugee women, girls and those on the feminine gender spectrum through their partnerships with local school and community sites in Saint Paul, MN.

Nexus Kindred Family Healing

Nexus Kindred Family Healing provides an impact on youth and families in Minnesota and surrounding states. Some services they offer are reunification of families, foster care placements, adoption assistance, supervised visitation, licensing foster parents, assisting youth with mental health needs, and many more. If you ever feel inclined to open your home for youth currently in foster care, 2023 Queen Jocelyn highly recommends Nexus Kindred Family Healing.
